Apparel Exhibition by Nimra K.

The first Apparel Exhibition covers the twelve different traits of feminism. Ranging from chic and hyped dresses that scream with bold and vibrant hues to the formal and lady-like attires that are embellished with absolute perfection are a part of the collection.

Nimra has twisted and folded different extremes together. The ace designer has excelled in layering and playing with fabric till it comes together then at the end she has effortlessly topped it all off with motifs and other enhancements.

The launch covers this remarkable line of garments that include color popping shades paired with beige's
and whites to balance the overall look. The usual blacks melted with the reds and metallic shades of blue's and grey's is what this collection covers.
Furthermore this exquisite launch focuses on wrapping neck lines with beads, laces and rhinestones that compliments the entire getup and leaves the rest of it flowing and flaring for you to indulge in the season’s scorching heat.

Over the official Facebook Page you will spot the model carrying the looks with their signature Nimra K. Bags and Clutches along with the Ah-mazingly designed dresses.
Drop your measurements and get ready to flaunt your dresses the NIMRA K. way !

Cloth

“We believe that Fashion is a right not luxury.”

Having a Masters degree in Business Administration, Abeera Qureshi was interviewed this week by ‘Samyy Writes’, on the start of her spectacular clothing line in Islamabad titled ‘Cloth’. Comfort and Affordability are the highlights that define what the brand actually is.

Abeera revealed the story of how Cloth came into being and told us that way back in November, 2010 she exhibited 30 outfits, which were given a huge response, by fans. With people appreciating and orders filling up, Abeera in 2012, started Cloth, ‘All the love and response led me into taking this task seriously.’ she said.
On asking what matters most, in Comfort Style and Trend she replied, ‘I think it’s the “comfort” of wearing “Cloth”, and an inner satisfaction of not spending much and still being up to date with the current trends. I believe style is not what we provide; two different clients wearing the same outfit will have their own style of wearing it so style basically comes from within.’
Using freedom of colors and material from Khaadi and Nishat, Abeera
concentrates on making the final garment presentable yet affordable.

Cloth is also working on a fine range of Bags and Jewelry that is also promised to be affordable akin to her clothing lines, which will be styled for the modern and independent woman.  Recently ‘Cloth’ introduced its new face – Hareem Farooq, a talented model and actress.
We hope to see more fresh and trendy garments from ‘Cloth’ really soon! Till then if you are looking for whites and blue and a vibrant splash of colored garments this year, then make sure to check out their upcoming summer inspired range ‘Summer Tide’.

Acacia - A vivid picture of the Mughal Era

The year was 2010, when the brand was founded by a few team members who had no knowledge about the crafts of the fashion industry. This was just a work of passion and obsession which blended with the traditions and culture of the Mughal Era and resulted in something fresh and innovative.
The team started shaping the structure after their designs were copied by other designers and were publicized on their ramps. Clearly for them, this was the time to set things straight and go for a systematic approach.

So after Acacia - an online fashion retail shop was launched that has been creating such fine fabric that is worn and appreciated by their customers.
The brand is all about the vintage 1600’s when the customs and traditions were rich and fashion was not flesh bearing. One of their dresses ‘Nur Jehan’ speaks about the inspiration they have taken from the time.
For now Acacia does not own any outlet around the globe but with the huge fan following they have been seen in Islamabad’s Fashion Week and soon they will be spotted in October in Karachi at the Fashion Week to display some of their amazing creativities.
Surely, if you want to take a step back in the times of our kings and experience the vintage fashion make sure to check Acacia out!
