Love in a Basket

Not everyone is born with talent. For some, it takes years to practice, and for others it’s more of a challenge. Sohaib Safwan, currently a BBA student at Iqra University was never an ace in nail art. For once he did a polka dot design on his sister’s nail and the design went so rad that instead of leaving it for sure, he gave this a new start and took this so far that now he stands as a proud trainer for OPI Pakistan.
The online store which is taken care by Sohaib and his mother has already scored 14k fans in a year. The shop offers an assortment rings, bangles, necklaces, earrings, brooches, clutches, handbags, hairbands and of course nail art, also available in 3D.

‘Love in a Basket’ turned one on the 21st of June, the initial idea was to start an online shop where he could promote and sell his designs but then later changed the impression that this would be a place where trendy items for girls will be show-cased. With the styles changing and the colors being added in the fashion, Sohaib focuses on updating the designs and constantly attaching the vivid and vibrant pigments with the current flow.

The prices of the items in ‘Love in a basket’ are extremely affordable especially when we talk about hand-made crafts. Sohaib said that he decides the range in which he can get the profit out and also keep the prices affordable for the customers.

‘Love in a Basket’ as always, will be launching their new and exquisite lines for their customers. Sohaib unveiled that he will be introducing formal clutches by the end of this month as their new range.
Seeing him being the first OPI educator ever in Pakistan, we asked him the reaction when people come to know that you are working as a trainer he replied,"They used to give me funny looks and almost everyone used to ask me how I ended up in this field. People make judgments without even seeing your work, and when they see my work, they are amazed! "

At the end we told Sohaib to give a brief reply of what he does for OPI "I am working for OPI as their educator for Pakistan, I give training and demo sessions to different saloons. These sessions mostly include a detailed demonstration of acrylic and gel nails, and OPI's different systems. Where ever in Pakistan they need to give training from the OPI systems, I am sent there for the demonstrations. Recently I was sent for an International Training by OPI in Dubai and I learned quite a lot of stuff."

Winding this up we congratulate 'Love in a Basket' for being blessed with such a response. We thank Sohaib Safwan for his time and co-operation and wish him the very best in future.
